Fraudulent Business Alert

RSA has become aware of a fraudulent organization using the name "Bronner Enterprises." This entity is not affiliated with Dr. David G. Bronner or the Retirement Systems of Alabama. If you receive any correspondence, solicitation, or communication from Bronner Enterprises, please do not respond or provide any personal information. Instead, report the information to RSA by calling 877.517.0020 so it can be documented. We have notified the appropriate authorities and are working with them regarding this matter. At this time, there is no action required by RSA members unless you are contacted by Bronner Enterprises.

Protect your information from Scammers

The Retirement Systems of Alabama (RSA) reminds members to remain vigilant against fraudulent calls, texts, and emails. For your safety, we do NOT provide PID numbers over the phone. RSA, PEEHIP, and their Boards will never request your Social Security number, PID, date of birth, or financial account information through these methods. Any such request should be considered a scam. No one from another state or federal agency will call to request your PID.

If you receive a suspicious communication and are unsure of its legitimacy, please end the interaction and contact RSA directly using the main phone line to verify.

Members who receive scam calls are encouraged to report the incident to the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov or by calling 1-877-382-4357. In addition, please notify RSA at 1-877-517-0020 so appropriate steps can be taken to inform and protect other members.
