ERS/JRF Board of Control

The Employees’ Retirement Board of Control is composed of 13 members who are elected, appointed, or hold office ex officio. The members of the Board are the trustees of the retirement funds and are responsible for the management and administration of the retirement system.

ERS Board of Control Election 

Important Notice:

ERS members voting for the LOCAL ACTIVE POSITION on the ERS Board should be aware that one of the candidates passed away on June 7th. All votes will be counted to determine the outcome of the election. If the deceased candidate receives the most votes, ERS will hold a special election to fill the position. If you have questions, they should be directed to the RSA.

Election Information

The following positions are currently up for election: State Employee, No. 1; Local Employee, No. 1; and Retired State Employee. The State and Local Employee positions have a four-year term, while the Retired State Employee position has a three-year term. All terms begin October 1, 2018.

The election is officially closed. Election results will be posted to the website as of June 20, 2018.
