Control Your Money Game

These seminars are for members with 1-19 years who are covered under the Teachers' Retirement System (TRS).

Control Your Money Game is a half-day seminar to help you get and stay on the right track for retirement. Alabamians are among the nation's worst savers for retirement. This seminar should help you get a focus on retirement and plan well so you can retire when you fulfill the requirements and want to retire...not when you can afford to retire. Planning must start early.

Complete the Registration Form. Mail your completed form immediately to the address given on the form. You will receive a confirmation letter including exact time and location. If your seminar choice is filled, you will receive a denial letter. If you have not received a letter within 2 weeks of the seminar, please contact us at 877-517-0020 to confirm.
Note: Registration is on a first come basis. No faxes or phone registrations will be accepted.

Where are these seminars being held? Seminars are held all across the state on various dates. Exact locations will be given in a confirmation letter. Must I be preregistered to attend? Yes – All members must be registered. Capacity is limited so register immediately. Do I have to take leave to attend? Yes – but the benefits from attending will be well worth the time. People today are spending up to 1/3 of their lifetime in retirement – PLANNING is a must. Is lunch provided? No – You are on your own for lunch. Is there a cost to attend the seminar? No – Seminars are provided by the RSA for registered members at no cost.
